Casual & Country was destroyed in the 2010 / 2011 earthquakes. This offered the owners an ideal opportunity to re-evaluate what they could offer the area, and what the local community required.
The buildings have been designed as an urban interpretation of country buildings. The pitched gable forms are reminiscent of rural buildings, using the steel, stone, and timber cladding materials in more modern urban aesthetics.
The new business park encompasses a home store, cafe, bar, and 8 offices. The development is to set the standard for Ferrymead, reflecting the relaxed successful community itself.
Casual and Country and the Ten27 eatery and bar is now open!
