Glasnevin

With intimate views overlooking the clients vineyards, and expansive views over the surrounding plains and hillsides, this home balances its environment through its form.

Designed with a cruciform layout, different wings serve different purposes, and create courtyard spaces to suit sun and wind aspects.  The gullwing roof forms are a nod to the harriers seen overhead.

The mass of the large home is broken up by its use of orientation and materiality.  Durability and low maintenance is achieved with its concrete and weathering steel material palette.

The environment the home is being constructed in can be harsh, but with the careful consideration given to this, it isn't a concern.
