Gibbston Reserve
On a steep site in Gibbston Valleys "The Reserve" subdivision, we're designing a home inspired by the modernist homes in California, adapted to suit the harsh Central Otago environment.
Durability, low maintenance, and efficiency are focuses of the construction, utilising an insulated concrete structure which is softened internally with a warm timber material palette.
The views from the building platform are spectacular, nestled in amongst the alps, with glazing carefully positioned to capture the views while balancing thermal performance.
